Underway offshore – headed to St Mary’s River & Fernandina Beach FL

We left Beaufort SC this morning with the slack tide and rode the ebb out the Beaufort River, Past Hilton Head, and out into the Atlantic. Another front came through last night, and we have another southing opportunity with Northerly winds forecast for the next couple days. We currently have WNW winds 5-10 kts – so we are motorsailing… should get more later today. ETA St Mary’s is tomorrow am.

ps – if you are in fernadina beach – take the kids to the “down under” great fish camp under the bridge connecting fla to amelia island – i think u can tie up – we always ysed to go when Smokey was around and the kids loved the fish tnks, pelicans etc… – might be a bit mundane as you are now living it. Town of fernandina cute – great toystore and super junk store on main drag – paper mill stinks though

    xxxxxxxx aub
